Week 5 : Art of the Ancients

Art of the ancients is one of the arts that we can see now a day in many historical places. In the ancient times the Egyptians build the pyramid for the tomb of the pharaoh. Pyramid is one of the wonder of the world. Slaves had built this kind of masterpiece. They used Gold, bronze, and stone to build their art or kind of structure. There are many things that we can learn from the time of the ancients. We can learn that they can make an art through stones. In Ancient time their main source of building is the stone. They can make relics out of gold and bronze and they can even make statues out of gold and bronze. In this time the people of Egypt or the Egyptians are barbarians they do not fear of anything.

Many artists now days I think are influenced by the art of the ancients because of their art works or masterpiece. Sculptures or making relics are one of their contributions in our art. Making this thing is not easy. Making and conceptualizing an art is not easy and it is not easy to make an art on a gold element. They are hardly professional workers. There are three terms in the art of the ancient the Paleolithic period, Mesolithic period, & the Neolithic period. Foreshortening is the method of rendering there art work. The art of the ancient is the first kind of art in the world. It refers to the advanced culture of much different kind of societies. For example the Egyptians made tombs for the dead and this tomb is one example of classical art.

 They Wanted to enhance their artworks. Sumerian, Assyrians, Akkad are the one that has been influenced by the Ancient art. Egyptian is mostly the one that has been influenced by it.They can make jewelry out of gold and copper.

The art of the Ancients has many style and literary form. 

Week 4 : Realistic Art

I’d prefer the realistic art; Realistic art is a real painting of an object, human, or a thing. These paintings are considered true & realistic. Paintings that I saw today are all real & all of them are based on a real person, thing, and animal and so on. Artists use much kind of techniques in making art. They are gifted with talent and artistry in making art. These kinds of people are eligible with knowledge. They can make little things come to life with their gifted talents in painting. Like the painting of Leonardo da Vinci the Mona Lisa, it is a painting of a real women who is sitting in a pile of rock. His talent is outstanding is his kind of way. It’s fun to saw what you can do in your mind that you can put on your hands.

Realistic Art, it really amazed me, because it is based on a real thing. All of the detail is good & I can say it is much fun to see rather than any painting. It’s nice to see that there are still artists that can draw paintings like this. How can they draw such art like that in a year, month or so? For me it’s their talent & knowledge that they can make for that kind of thing. Realism, which actually exists, that’s why it’s called realistic art. I think they love what they are doing that’s why the outcome of their project is perfect. The best artists for me that ever live is Leonardo da Vinci, his art are all good & astonishing. Only few of the people now a day are gifted with this kind of skill or talent. They are the siblings of god.

It’s good to see what they can do in their skill & they are using it in a very good way. They are sharing the gift of god to us through their painting or through art. Realism was an artistic movement that began in France in the 1850s, after the 1848 Revolution. These Realists positioned themselves against Romanticism, a genre dominating French literature and artwork in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Seeking to be undistorted by personal bias, Realism believed in the ideology of objective reality and revolted against the exaggerated emotionalism of the Romantic movement.

Week 3 : Impromptu

For me impromptu art is like improvising a kind of artwork that literally comes out on your mind. Art is like thinking something that you really want to do on your own. Artists Now a day are making art that is not prepared and it comes instantly in their mind. I have done an impromptu art in doing or making art or making an art piece. I need to be Calm & be imaginative enough to make a kind of drawing or artwork. Be Imaginative enough to see the right things to make it an art. Love the things that you want to do in making art. Art itself cannot be done if you do not make it as your own prospective. There are making things simple in making art. Photography is my passion that’s why when I’m taking some shots, it’s like an art that cannot be told or impromptu.

 

Artists consider sculpture, photography, painting & many more artworks that can be done. Love what you can do so that the outcome can be really good. Do something extraordinary that can become an art. Think positive to overcome your weakness in making an impromptu art. Always be calm, to think harder and to have a good outcome of what kind of idea you could do. Even little things that can come on your mind can be done as an art. Draw something or sketch something to train your ability. Think Harder so that your imagination can be wider that before. My First art Is Photography, Shots that can never be replace by other person. A camera can capture many kinds of things that can be unexpectedly done by others.

Now these days there are many photographers that express their feelings through art. For me impromptu art is mostly done by taking different kinds of shots in a particular subject. Everything we see nowadays is art. Impromptu is like doing something that you didn’t expect to be done. Like in photography, We/I didn’t expect to have good quality shots on a particular object. Like in editing some photos, sometimes I didn’t expect it to be cool and good that’s the magic of being imaginative. Conquer your limits to have something good that pops out of your mind. Like an explosive dynamite that can be done by experts. Don’t be afraid to show what you can finish.

Week 2 : Era

Since the 1^st day of school started I knew different kind of things in the history of arts & design. I’ve seen different kind of art forms. I’ve learn how to create my own artwork. Even if I don’t know how to draw I still try to create a good artwork. Love what you are creating so that the outcome will be a good kind of art. If I create an abstract the viewers cannot know the meaning of it because I can only know the meaning of it. Even in are early times there are many kinds of art that is being created. That’s why it is being tackled in our subject for us to know many art forms. The Mona Lisa is the famous painting in the world that is created by Leonardo da Vinci. Until now this painting of Leonardo da Vinci is being tackled by different artists in the world.

Based on My observation all the sculpture of a human is all naked like the thinker. Architecture is one of the artworks in Classical art. There are many techniques in making an art like pointillism – using dots to make an art, Abstract expressionism – contemporary art. Then in the art of the ancients there is a golden section “mathematical ratio is 1:1:68”. Then two essential ways art as likeness & art as alteration. Art as likeness – realism this is a real art that is being make by the artist, art as likeness – abstract. Aristotle’s saying all visual art are all mimesis. Byzantine or Christian art this is the art made for churches & many more. The Meaning of Kouros is Man that’s why sculptures are all naked man & woman. One of the greatest artists in all time is Leonardo da Vinci & his best art is The Mona Lisa a painting of a real Woman who is sitting in pile of rock.

The best part in History of arts & design, you can able to think & create different art all by your self.  We may able to know the story of the arts back then. Learn how to draw even if you don’t know how to draw. Be an artist in your kind of style. Love what you do so it could be a great kind of art. Be imaginative enough to create art or to think art. Art itself is not being created because we are the one who will create it. For me the most influential era is the classical art.

Week : 1 The Mona Lisa

Many people are curious about the painting of Leonardo da Vinci, “Mona Lisa or La Gioconda (La Jaconde)”. Base on What I’ve read Mona Lisa is a 16^th Century portrait painted in oil on a paper panel by Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo da Vinci paints Mona Lisa during the Renaissance of Italy. This particular painting “The Mona Lisa” is the most famous painting in the world. I think I heard Mona Lisa when I was only 10 years old and I Didn’t know that it is a painting of a woman smiling to her viewers. Based on What I’ve read on the net, Mona Lisa Was Painted by a celebrated genius who didn’t create a lot of paintings during his life time. Leonardo Started painting The Mona Lisa in 1502 according to Vasari. After he had lingered his four years, he had continued to work on it for three years after he moved to France to finished shortly before he died in 1519. Leonardo took the painting from Italy to France in 1516 when king Francois invited the painter to work at dos cuce near the king’s castle.

King Francois bought the painting for 4,000 ecus and kept it at fantainebleua. It remains until moved by King Louis XIV. The Mona Lisa is an art of the Renaissance period. The painting was not well-known until the mid-19^th century. When the Artists of the emerging symbolist began to appreciate it then is was known by many people. It becomes a mystery that why Leonardo da Vinci created this painting. With their ideas of feminine mystique critic Walter Pater, in his essay on 1867 on Leonardo da Vinci, express his viewed by describing the figure of the painting. Then Walter Pater said on his essay that it is a mythic embodiment of eternal feminity. Who is older than the rock among which she sits and who has been dead many times and learned the secrets of the grave. Walter Pater is very Intrigue of Leonardo’s painting.

Based on what I've read the painting of Mona Lisa is a real women that Leonardo da Vinci painted. Leonardo's assistant salai owned the portrait named in his personal papers. Leonardo use a pyramid design to place the woman simply and calmly in the space of painting. The portrait is the first painting to depict the sitter before an imaginary landscape. Then the enigmatic woman portrayed seated in what it appears to be an open loggia in dark places. We can see that The Mona Lisa painting has no visible facial hair at all. Then this painting has been restored for several times.

Week 10 : How to enhance your skills

In Enhancing our creativity we need to conquer are mistakes and make it are inspiration. Enhancing creativity is easy if we may learn the procedures of it. We need to become an expert on that particular area. To make it easy we need to reward ourselves on that kind of interest. Lets put off our efforts and set goals in enhancing our skills in creativity. We need to take risks in able to conquer and develop our creativity. Don't be insecure in your ability because it can suppress your work in enhancing it. The best thing to do is overcome are negative side that is blocking are creativity. Love your self so that your brain can love your work to. Because creativity is a kind of sense that needs to be cherish and be love.

Make Time for creativity so that you wont hustle your self. Find a way to motivate your self so that your creativity will be out of your self. Don't be afraid in making a mistake. Sometimes your mistakes will be your greatest weapon in your idea. Rather than reprimanding yourself, reward yourself when you are curious about something. When it comes in building your creative skills, you need to be willing to take risks in order to advance your abilities. One Common roadblock to developing creativity is the sense that curiosity is an indulgence. Fully devote your self to developing your creative skills.

Week 9: Blogging

Blogging is a kind of way to express your feeling. It is like a public journal that many of us use nowadays. For me it helps me to express my feelings through the usage of blogging. Many of us cannot express our thoughts to others because some of us are shy. Some of us cannot speak through. It helps me find a way to show my thoughts & feelings to others. Many people use blogging to sell stuffs online. It is a unique way of getting extra income online. We can share some ideas through blogging and many more.

At first I think blogging is boring and corny but once I started using it I enjoyed it. I enjoyed sharing my experiences to others. I enjoyed sharing my ideas and what I’ve learn this past few days of my life. Blogging is fun once you started using it. It is a great way to share your great moments to others and share some video of yourself and some of your pictures. Many great ideas that I’ve read is on the other bloggers that I follow.
